ASAP is a web-based genome annotation and analysis tool that researchers can use to search and contribute to a database of genome information and experimental data. The database currently contains annotations for several enterobacterial genomes, including Escherichia coli K-12 MG1655, that are being updated by community input and houses a collection of functional genomic data. ASAP supports complex queries of both the annotation and experimental data, and offers flexible downloads of updated annotations and associated sequences in standard formats.
