The ABCISSE database is the result of a phylogenetic and functional classification of ABC systems found in living organisms. We provide tools for keyword based searches (by gene name, functional category, substrate type, biological role) and we implemented a blast engine to perform similarity based searches.
6543 proteins (forming 2833 systems) involved in mechanisms energized by ABC proteins from 456 species, comprising proteins from 48 completed genomes.
